These gas connectors are equipped with a Gastop Excess Flow Valve (EFV), which means that in the event of a gas connector rupture or disconnection from the appliance, the Gastop EFV immediately detects the increased gas flow and stops it, preventing dangerous gas leaks. The Gastop EFV will remain activated until the broken gas connector is replaced.
